LantaraA Republic Rises
No land, no water, no army, no friends. Forty years to turn a broke little island into a nation the world can't ignore.
Every nation begins as a promise
Forty yearsThe clock never stops
One game, one sitting, about forty-five minutes. Every December a calendar sheet falls: another year gone, so many left. Reach First World before Year 40, or the world moves on without you.
One islandNo land, no water, no army
Lantara is a speck between a mainland that holds its water and a rival port that wants its trade. Reclaim the lagoon, dam the streams, dredge a harbour, and make yourself impossible to ignore.
Your republicEvery choice costs someone
Big moments call the council and the clock stops. Each minister backs a different answer. Each answer shows its price, and someone always pays it. Four families will remember what you did.
Swamp to skyline, tile by tile
Every plan you approve appears on the map: cranes, scaffolds, then towers. Captured on iPad, in development.
Year one: jungle, a swamp, a lagoon, and a few stilt houses around the bay
Typhoon Mara: tap each family on the roofs to move them to high ground
A council meeting: Elder Rin, Mira Tolan and Bao Kester argue over the party split
Year sixteen: the first flats and factories rise around the lagoon
The Parting Count: district by district, the island votes on leaving the Federation
A crisis: the mainland's water deal ends, and the council has to answer tonightBuild it. Hold it. Govern it.

Build a city from mud and tin
Flats, factories, reservoirs, a ring road, a metro and a Skyport. Every plan rises tile by tile on a living isometric map.

Hold four peoples together
Hanlin, Selari, Tamari and Vessin share one small island. Schools, festivals and mixed blocks keep the peace. Neglect it and the streets burn.

Govern, and pay for it
Hard laws work fast and cost Trust and Liberty. Let Liberty fall too far and the opposition marches.

Weather the storms
Typhoons, riots, oil shocks, a fever and a world crash. Build for them, or scramble when they hit.

Race a rival port
Across the strait, Halvard's terminal grows every few years. Out-build it and the ships queue for you. Fall behind and they sail past.

Play it again, differently
Four endings, unlockable leaders, short scenarios, an advisor run, and a weekly Speed Run where every player gets the same island.
Five ministers. Five answers.
Each one backs a different way forward, and each one keeps score.
Four homes live through your choices
Approve a school and a child learns a neighbour's poem. Sell the docks and a father loses his crew. Their stories change with every game.
Light the first lantern
Lantara launches in November 2026 on iPhone and iPad. One price. No ads. No in-app purchases.
